I am a first time chicken owner 🥰 I have 4 ladies. I always worry if they are too hot or too cold or happy. I adopted them from situation that was not too good. I think I am developing an anxious energy about it all. I constantly want to make sure they are ok. I am in the middle of treating them for mites (not an infestation) I caught it in the very early stages. But I seem to be always worried or stressed about things and I find myself getting overwhelmed. Is that normal? Or am I just overthinking and over anxious?

Yep.
I mean you have to take care of them so something like catching the mites and taking care of them is a good thing but you don't want to worry yourself to the point of losing the enjoyment of having them.
I do need to relax . It’s just everyone makes it seem like a death sentence.

I think it is normal for new chicken owners to worry a lot about their care. Sort of like new parents , you tend to question everything, by the time the next kid comes along, they are much more relaxed. Just spend time observing your girls and learn what's normal. Read the articles on here, and the posts and responses, so you learn about issues before they happen, and your confidence will grow.

Yes, do that. Food, water, shelter/predator protection and treatment for when things come up is all they really need.
I think I get anxious because you read so many things that go wrong and a few people said on this board that mites are forever and I get so stressed! But I love the girls and will do what it takes to get them gone. I will relax haha I promise.
