Amazing!! Four broodies out of seven LF hens!

My standard chochin Molly went broody last week. So I set to collecting eggs for her. But suddenly I was only getting threee eggs a day from seven hens. Now I know why!

I also have two partridge rock hens sitting now, and I am not getting hardly any eggs. So I have been calling everyone I know with fertile eggs. I suddenly need three dozen fresh fertile eggs!

And, my other black cochin is also going broody. She spends all day in the coop, and her bock has changed to her broody voice.

I am so excited!

How does the broody voice sound different from the egg song? And congrats!

Her broody voice is much lower and gentler, and not as 'bocky' lol It took several hens for me to be able to recognize it.
