Amazing Orpingtons thread!

Hi everyone. I decided I wanted to make a thread about my favorite chickens... Orpingtons! I have buff orpingtons, lavender orpingtons, and chocolate orpington bantams. I hope to start breeding the lavenders and chocolates next year. I will try to put some pictures up soon. Anyone feel free to post

I have a Jubilee, a Spangled, a Blue and a White adults and now have Jubillee, Lavendar, Buff and Gold Laced babies, currently 4 weeks old. I think I will be specialising in Orps from now on as I just love their huge fluffy butts (and my girls really ARE huge!) and their amazing temperament.

Yeah, I paid £40 for my girl at POL (about $70) but she was worth every penny. Only paid £1.50 ($2.55) for the hatching eggs though and got two Jubes.....can't wait to see how they turn out.
