I have a wonderful cochin rooster in need of a home. I would love to keep him, but it seems someone in our rural neighborhood has decided to crack down on the no chicken policy and a rooster puts a target on our little hen house.
Huge bummer because he:
-Is very gentle and sweet with the hens
-Is very sweet with little chicks. They love him and roost with him every night.
-Has never been nasty to me or any other person.
-Is a tank. He'd be great for breeding
-Is pretty quiet compared to other roosters
-Is only 9 months old
That being said-I'm super attached to the guy so would like him to go to a good home.
