I’m new to chickens. My boyfriend brought home 8 baby chicks one day and then left for his job for a few months, so now I’m all alone on raising these adorable babies!
I have eight and I believe he said 4 are Dominique and 4 are Sebright Bantams.
I love taking pictures, so I’m always taking pictures/videos of them.

I have two dogs, one is 12 and she is a sweetheart and the other is 4 and he’s a brat. He likes to chase and kill chipmunks, squirrels, birds, etc. He’s not a fan of the baby chicks right now, so I have to keep him away from them. He is also jealous that I am giving the baby chicks attention when he thinks they are prey.
Anyway, I am excited to join! Looking forward to fun reads and information on raising chicks.
I feel like it will be addicting and I will want more chickens!

Your babies are adorable! If you would like to share more Pictures and Stories of them or your fur babies, you have come to the right place. BYC’ers never tire of these and do not back away slowly or commence eye rolling when the photo album or home videos come out ;)

Including your general location on your profile will assist others. Location, climate, season etc can be important factors when members are responding to any questions you may have and vice versa.
