Ameracauna? and gender of my BOrp.

I know this guy is a Rooster, but I got him as Ameracauna, and just want to be sure. Also, this BOrp has much redder comb than the others, so is it a hen closer to laying, or a rooster? Thanks.

Both boys and your Ameracauna is really an Easter Egger. They are very nice birds usually even if they are a mix.

I have 3 Buff Orpingtons...and for the longest time I thought one was definitely a rooster. I was wrong. They are all hens. She looks just like your BO in the pic, but you never mentioned an age. He/She looks young still. The absolute way to know is wait for the crowing or the egg! As far as your Ameraucana...it is definitely an EE.
