My 4-H poultry group pitched in on purchasing chicks from Welp Hatchery, and since I only wanted 6 Russian Orloffs, they were packages with Amercauna's and some others. We had quite a time differentiating since they both have those chipmunk backs. We checked for leg color and their feathers developed so far, but are there any other ways of telling the difference so I know to track down the Ameracauna person and ask for a switch? Lol. Thank you.
