I got 5 new ameracauna white hens at the 4H sale of our state fair this year. They are truely beautiful birds. The question is ....... After I quarantined them for like 4 weeks and then put them in with my other birds, the older ones are all stressed and losing feathers and now not laying. I have now removed them, the ameracaunas, and put them back in the other pen until I get my new bigger coop done. Will I have to keep these breeds separate or will I ever be able to mix them??

Oh yeah, the other birds are barred rock, 3 california whites, white rock, 5 ee's, buff orp, RIR, SLW.

you talk about them losing feathers and not laying this may just be them molting not from stress not sure though are the birds fighting?

yep, sounds like your older birds are just molting, it's that time of year. If you go to the egg laying thread you will see that every other post says "my birds have stopped laying"
Congrats on the white Ameraucanas, I have been looking all over for some!
