For colored egg/OE/EE/pet flocks
I have a black and a blue Ameraucana cockerel. I also have what is supposed to be a BCM cockerel but he is solid black.
They all hatched mid October and are vaccinated for mareks.
The Ameraucanas are from a deep blue laying line, however are red based instead of silver, and I don’t like their combs so not suitable for breeding “show” birds, but will give lovely egg color.
The marans cockerel came from mail order hatching eggs. They were all beautiful and dark. The others look like I would expect but this one is solid black with only light feathering on his legs. Could be useful for Olive Eggers, but not one to stay in my Marans pen.
Located in Deland FL. NPIP farm.
