Hi everyone! I'm new to chickens, but have read enough to know that I may be jumping the gun here.... But I'm gonna ask anyway!

I have two blue Ameraucana chicks, one is a true blue and one is a splash. They are 5 1/2 weeks old. Any guesses?? I'm really hoping they're pullets, because they are so sweet and pretty and I'm not allowed to keep roos!
First up is the true blue:

And the splash:

Thanks for your input!!

Hi, you might ask on the Ameraucana thread. They are pretty good at guessing. I can't tell yet, but I don't see any darker Hackle feathers yet.

Pretty birds! It looks like your blue might be a cockerel, and the splash a pullet. I think I see 3 rows on the comb on your blue. These guys are tricky though. I've had blue, black, and lavender Ameraucana's, and the cockerels were not immediately obvious.
