Misidentified as a female chick at the hatchery on July 1, 2024, Moses is a beautiful boy. But I already have a rooster and didn't want or need a second one. Also, he has recently discovered that he is a virile male and is driving his pullets (and me!) crazy.

His current home is near Fort Dodge and I would be willing to drive him some distance just so the girls and I can get some rest from his antics. Moses recently proved himself to be great at sounding the alarm when a large bird of prey flew over the coop.

You can click the Attach Files button below where you type, or click the little icon with the graphic that looks like a mountain. Either one will take you to your gallery where you can select the photo you wish to attach.

Moses is a Murray McMurray Ameraucana. The other Ameraucana chick I got at the same time has begun laying beautiful blue eggs.

I have photos on my phone, but it is a cheap, pre-paid and tells me that it doesn't have enough memory to allow me to send a photo.
I am hoping to change all that in the near future.

I just saw the conversation where you asked about his comb. It's disappointing because he suffered a bit of frostbite and lost some of the points. Otherwise, he's a beauty.
