Ameraucana comb?

24 weeks and the comb just has not started to turn or grow_ i guess it is the short days? Will the beak stay black?

thats a hen ameraucana comb, and yes the beak should stay black, you might get a little bleaching when she starts to lay

I would have just thought that by this age it would be larger

no ameraucana hens combs don't get very big, it will fill out a little more when she starts to lay
