When I went out to feed our 6 hens tonight I noticed that Myrtle our one Ameraucana was bleeding on the side by her tail feathers.. I think she cut herself when she tried to fly from one of roosting pegs and may have hit a sharp spot I found on the ceiling.. we put some peck no more cream on because her and her sisters were kind of pecking at it.. she is eating fine and there is no overcrowding is there anything else I can do to help her? the summer was hardest on her and she molted most of her back feathers except for one tail feather.. I'm a little worried as this is my first time owning chickens so I'd love some advice

If she is being pecked, I would protect her in a crate within the run. If she’s already gone to roost for the night, I’d just be sure to get to her early tomorrow before they get a chance to peck her.
Pictures of the wound would be helpful for us to give first aid advice. Triple antibiotic ointment would probably be good.

Hello, My neighbor raises all kinds of show chickens, and she uses something called a chicken saddle to protect any wounds, and even to keep some from getting wounds if they're extra spirited she calls it. They super easy to make, and you can get free patterns on line.

Update this morning there was no blood and everyone was well behaved the coop smells like peck-no-more.. here is the pictures of miss Myrtle.. she is not happy with me or mom today
