My 21 1/2 week old Ameraucana started laying this week and I have gotten 5 eggs in 3 days.
That seems like a lot?

Complete egg formation in pullets or hens generally occurs within every 24 hours. Since she was a young pullet commencing egg production she might of had more than one egg in the oviduct since pullets become stressed and are hesitant to lay in the beginning.
Her routine of egg production will eventually regulate.

I have ten total birds, but the Americana is the only one that lays the blue eggs, all the eggs have been perfect with nice thick hard shells.

Pretty odd for an Am, or any bird, to lay 2 hard shelled eggs in a 24 hour period.
But it can happen, from what I've read.
