Is she an Ameraucana or an Easter Egger? I've had Avi since she was about 16 weeks old and she's a great layer of large blue/green eggs. She's one tough cookie as well. She survived a dog bite that I wasn't sure if she'd recover from. Now she's doing great! I was told that she was an Ameraucana by the man I purchased her from, but I've learned (after reading this site) that that may not mean a thing! Let me know if you need another picture to help identify.

green eggs equals Easter Egger, The pure breed will lay only blue eggs, not bluish or green. It doesn't meen she is not close to pure Ameraucana but one of the requirements for being Ameraucana is a blue egg.

Not always, A Robin Blue eggs is standard but there are pure Ameraucanas that lay a blue/green egg. Some lay an off color. She is not out of the standard colors for Ameraucana. She is an EE. She looks really nice though.

What is an actual auracauna, or whatever they are called supposed to look like? Because I for one, have no idea...
