Will they still have colored feathers if I bread them with the white leghorn rooster? I like the large amount of eggs I get from the leghorn but white hens are boring.

I don't care for white birds either, that's why I used brown Leghorns when I crossed them in

Leghorns are dominant white, so the offspring are kind of a crap shoot. Often the chicks turn out white with flecks of color over the body. But, that white can hide other things like barring, so you really don't know what your particular rooster will throw until you try it.

If you get all white birds, you can always sell them and use the money to buy something else
