ameraucana pullets?

hello,
I have 3 ameraucana about 4.5 months old. splash/light blue/darker blue. anyway, I'm thinking the splash is a roo because the tail is getting longer, but I'm really not sure. it's much harder to tell the ameraucana sex vs my Marans. any help would be great see pic.

Guessing the splash one is a cockerel. I think I can see some pointy saddle feathers.

4 & 1/2 months is about 18 weeks-- that is the age that they are about ready to lay. I can't say for sure you have females, but I don't see obvious cockerels, so I am guessing you have 3 pullets about to lay. Closer side view pictures and closer pictures of their combs could help confirm.

Would you get newer pics of the splash one? Closer pics, focus on lower back feathers, close up to head? Thanks!

Tough ones-- I can see why the owner is stumped. If they are indeed 4.5 months old then they are likely to be pullets. If they were younger I would've said the splash and the lighter blue one were cockerels.

They're unusually patchy, but I'm pretty sure the blues are pullets. There doesn't appear to be any male specific plumage on either.

As for the splash, I, too, am a little baffled. Is there any way you could possibly get a " close up closeup " of his/her saddle and hackle regions?

I'm at work now and that's all the pic. I took so far. i'll get more when I get home. I did notice 2 days ago the splash and dark blue starting a little fighting, not much but more like starring at each other in an aggressive manner. maybe just playing.
