Hi All,
I am a newbie forum member, and a tender-hearted newbie chicken mom. We have a handsome and vigilant Ameraucana rooster in need of a new home, born late March 2016. We have 6 hens currently, and he would probably do well with 10-12 hens. I think he would appreciate more free-ranging time, but being new to this practice, I am terrified of the large number of foxes on our farm and the surrounding properties. We have grown quite fond of him, so I want to make sure he goes to an excellent home (with rooster experience/appreciation). He will be sadly missed.

Placing roosters can be pretty hard but sometimes you get lucky.
