Ameraucana??

I got this chick along with an RIR and the guy at the feed store said it was an Ameraucana. I really hope that it is because I’ve been wanting one for a while and I want to see the beautiful blue eggs they lay. So is my chick an Ameraucana? I will love her either way. She has blue/grey legs if that helps any lol.

She may be a non muffed/bearded Easter Egger, but she is not an Ameraucana.

Usually "ameracaunas" sold at the feed store are easter eggers, a mutt chicken breed that usually has beards or muffs. Luckily easter eggers lay eggs in a multitude of colors, such as green, blue, or pink. Hopefully she lays pretty blue eggs for you .

Thank you for replying. I hope she lays pretty blue eggs too. Either way she will be loved just the same. She’s a scared cat or “chicken” she doesn’t like to be touch or held like the others.
