Ameraucana's eyes, is this a flaw?

I am curious as to whether this is normal for the eye colour of an Ameraucana?
He's a blue rooster and is almost 15 months

old.

Lol. He looks like he's got this crazy look in his eyes when I see him outside, it's bizarre.

It has been a common problem with large fowl black Ameraucanas (probably blues too that have been outcrossed with blacks) for many years and something to select against when considering birds to breed.

Thank you for your input. Seems like I was totally duped by this breeder I purchased 5 birds from. I questioned her on all of them and she had what seemed like a legitimate answer for every one of the birds.

The lavender rooster I bought, I was told it was molting because of heat stress and the gold tint was sun bleach, it isn't it's the alleles and tail shred. The chocolate rooster I was told was only "faded so the red was showing and it would disappear at its first molt as it's only 11 weeks old". Nope, it's leakage and genetic... Now this rooster.
I was trusting and learning... Buyer beware
That said I'll know what to look for next time in a bird
Thankfully I don't breed for show but for eggs and my own interest!
