amercauna or EE light blue egg?

I was told that a pure amercauna would lay a blue egg... her eggs look light blue to me.
I was expectin her to be and ee since a true amercauna are hard to find.

Solid black hen... with the muff and beard. Beautiful hen.

You think I have a pure amercauna on my hands??

She still could be an EE. EE chickens can lay green eggs if Ameracauna genetics were mixed with brown egg laying breeds, and they can lay blue eggs if they were mixed with white egg laying breeds. But maybe you got an Ameracauna or an EE with a good proportion of Ameracauna traits.

One of my EEs lays blue eggs! Her description sounds like my EE Puff, but yours probably has a pea comb because she has the blue egg trait. Puff lays brown eggs - single comb.

With that single comb, I'm doubtful she's Ameraucana.

My hen does look like this one but she has the pea comb and dark legs

EEs can lay blue eggs also. If you didn't get her from an Ameraucana breeder that could tell you what colors they had, she's an Easter egger.
