American Blue Geese

Do I need a pond for my blues or can a kiddie pool suffice?. Years ago I had an embden and she had a pool

For geese in general, Any water container that they can fully submerge their body in will suffice, in the winter a bucket of water will do just fine.

I have two pairs of geese; American Blue, and American Lavender. They all share a Rubbermaid 55 gallon oval stock tank. It’s deep enough for them to submerge themselves in, and two fit in there comfortably at a time. In the winter I use a floating heater to keep the water from freezing over. Hope this helps!
