Honestly, I got them from tractor supply, so the odds are they are mutts. I'm A ok with it lol.. I got straight run, and I believe these are about 4/5weeks old now. Trying to figure out if I have pullets or roos. The only way I can get decent photos of these guys is to hold them. I tried to include full body pics, but they are flighty. Any help is appreciated.

1 definite cockerel, but the one with the red comb could be your 2nd, the next to last pic is your pretty boy.

Sorry the last Pic isn't the greatest but shows the neck feathers well of the 2 in question lol. I'm pretty sure both are roos. I have a home lined up for them, but I'd rather rehome soon vs later. They are going to be pets one a large farm to help protect a flock. Every video of hens that I have seen(even my own girls), don't flare their neck feathers quiet this bad. Am I wrong?

Females will flare too if they're bickering or sparring.

Those two are almost certainly male's though, especially Red Comb

Their build is just so different from the other 2 I got in their group. They have thick legs, big honky feet. I've seen my pullets spar but not like these 2 and since I brought them home these 2 just go at it all day on and odd. The pullets when they have scuffles are quick, they jump on each other and necks will puff up but not like these 2. I'd hate to rehome if they are pullets, and start over with another 4 but my gut is screaming roos. Part of my issue is the county I'm in doesn't allow roos in residential neighborhoods.

Yes these are your boys! :D and from TSC they're not technically mutts/mixed breeds but they would be called Easter Eggers (bred to resemble ameraucana but much more common, non standard colors and bigger range of egg colors)

They were sold as americanas I believe. From what I understood were essentially EE, and that those are a mix themselves lol. I'm very new to the chicken world but I am loving it so far(aside from hawks flying over and stealing one of my girls). Since the hawk incident I have since put them all in a run and that's where they stay till they are big enough to free range and my coop is inside the run and predator proofed.

I'd love to keep a roo, but our zoning doesn't allow it 😭.

Americana is the word they use! It's unfortunately meant to trick people, it's a purposeful misspelling of Ameraucana. Americana = Easter Egger or EE for short as you'll see many people use :D

That's good to know. The others I have are RiR and BSL and they are the sweetest things. They like to be tucked in at night, and when they were smaller would scream for me to hold them. Those are 100% pullets. Definitely mommas girls, however I can't get the 2 pullet EE to be social like them. They will hop on me but I'm not allowed to touch otherwise they run like I'm trying to eat them. Once I get the boys in their new home I'll have to try again and go will pullet only. I got my EE from the straight run bin.
