Is it too early to tell if this Americana is a pullet? 4 weeks old. If it is too early what should I look for? This is my first time with chickens

Agreed. Most likely a pullet. She's got a nice even color pattern which usually indicates females in Easter Eggers.

Keep an eye out for reddish color popping up on her wings. That would indicate male. At this point, she looks like a girl.

I have one just like this, 4 wks old but it was listed as an Easter Egger

Americana (spelled with an i) is the same thing as an Easter Egger. They're mixes bread to lay blue or green eggs but may occasionally lay brown.
With all due respect, this is incorrect.

Easter Eggers are are mixes that have just been consistently bred to (typically) lay blue, green, and even possibly olive or brown eggs. With the mostly consistent beard, blue/green legs and a pea comb.
Whereas Americanas are a true blue, and pure breed with standards.

You're confusing Americanas with Ameraucanas-- the latter is the pure breed bred to standards. Amer'i' canas is the name hatcheries use to fool people into thinking they're getting a pure breed when actually they're getting Easter eggers.

Ameraucanas are true bred with SOP. Not Americanas. The spelling does matter. A lot of hatcheries are selling Easter Eggers with the label of Americana.

Oh my goodness, my deepest apologies @WingItRanch .
I read that completley wrong.

Thank you for the correction-you two. :)
