We have a americana rooster that crowed the first morning. We let him out in the morning along with our rhode island reds and golden comets . theychased him and beat him up and now he doesnt crow and he hasnt been near them. any ideas ?

Roosters crow to show their dominance over the flock, When a rooster is beaten in a cock fight it is no longer the dominant male, And from my experience loses heart, Causing them to act timid, shy and scared. Im guessing he isnt as puffed up as he used to be also, right? Feather wise?

You never said if the hens beat him up or the other Roosters.
If the Hens beat him up, Keeping him away from the run for a month or so and then slowly, 1 by 1 introduce him back to the flock so he can slowly gain dominance over the hens instead of getting beat up by 20 mad hens.

If the Cock birds beat him up, Then you have 2 options, Get rid of the other rooster or keep him in there and hope he gets a higher rank in the pecking order with the hens, Which I wouldn't recommend.

Yeah, I've had the same happen to me before, I just Took him out for a month and re introduced him a month later, Slowly and it worked out perfect.
Best of luck.
