Americauna Hen attacking other Americauna Hen

My older Americauna Hen attacked the new Americauna hen to the point that there are no more feathers on the new hens head. She also almost pecked her eye out. No one i talk to can explain this was just hopeing someone here could. Thanks

Your older hen is trying to establish a "pecking" order with the new hen. The older hen is telling the new hen "I am in charge - deal with it". Please keep an eye on them - your older hen can be a bratt, and not allow the younger hen to eat or drink - add a couple extra feed and drink stations. Make sure there are places the younger hen can get away from the older hen.
