I have 4 Amerucana "chicks" that are all the same age. About 3 weeks ago we got our first green egg. The we got a two green eggs about 4 days after that. I usually get at least one egg a day, and 2 about half the time. I was under the impression that during the summer my girls would each be laying 4-5 per week. So, why aren't my other 2 "chicks" laying yet? I'm not very good with the patience thing so I'm asking to make myself feel better. Also, how large will the eggs get? Currently they are about half the size of my RIR eggs, and I also expected them to be bigger. Guess I didn't do enough research on my Amerucanas :)

You have Easter Eggers, not Ameraucanas if they are laying green eggs.

The other two may not be of laying age yet. Every bird is different; I know how frustrating waiting for them to lay can be.
But you have no other option other than to wait it out.

As for size, new egg layers can lay double yolkers, shell-less eggs, small eggs etc until their system kicks into gear.
