amherst egg question

My lady Amherst hen has finally started laying. How many eggs will she lay??? Usually with my red golden hens, I take the first ten eggs and then let them hatch any more eggs they lay. Can I do this with my amherst hen as well? This is my first year having Amhersts.

Yes, I believe so. If you take the eggs, they will continue to lay or lay a clutch later in the season.
