OK, so I found an old amish buggy cab abandoned on the side of the road-which doesn't make sense,btw, because we are nowhere NEAR any omish villages(cue ominous music)- It's about 5ft. by 5 ft., and I was going to build out some nesting boxes. It's weatherproof, and has a window that can be open and shut. It's off the ground, and has plenty of room for chickens to run in and out. I'll post some pictures later, but I was just wondering if anyone had any ideas
I'm thinkin' of putting shingles on the roof,pulling out the seats, making a better door, and as I said before, building out nesting boxes(big ones, as I'm planning on getting some standard cochins) any ideas?
