Amoxicillin for Chickens

A vet gave me amoxicillin powder for chickens that are coughing and sneezing.

I have never used amoxicillin for my chickens before (has anyone? I thought this was very different compared to what I have used in the past), does anyone have experience on egg withdrawal? I am planning on just waiting it out for 4 weeks.

Amoxicillin is a common broad spectrum antibioitc. Different vets give different advice on the length of time one shouldn't eat the eggs from a hen that is taking it. I think four weeks should be fine.
