I think it is a female by it's coloring.

I agree...thus far looks to be a pullet from the coloring, but there is a lot of feather growth to be done yet.

If the coloring gets patchy, and red bars appear on the wing bows...then it will be a male.

But thus far, it appears to have an even color pattern of a partridge type which indicates it is likely a female.

Thanks! I wing sexed it when it was a few days old and kept it from a large hatch because it appeared to be a girl and I liked its puffy cheeks.
