An Easter Surprise

Can't provide pictures right now (sorry everyone) because my camera is currently broken, but...

I got a nice Easter surprise yesterday! My serama hen Aztec hatched out three beautiful little chicks! I thought her timing was just perfect, as I've always wanted to have some chicks hatch on Easter just for the fun of it. I knew she had been sitting on eggs for a while, but didn't think it had been that long. They're darling and it really brightened my day! I had been caring for an abandoned mallard duckling who suddenly passed away yesterday, so I'm glad they hatched yesterday to keep it from being a gloomy day.

I'll provide pictures once I have a working camera again!

Oh are they ever cute - I wish I planed my hatch around Easter it would hav been cute instead of thwed of this week oh well next year
