My roosters were showing much interest in my leghorns today. Two different rooster mated with 2 of them. Does that mean the leghorn pullets will start laying soon?

They'll lay when they are ready.

Watch for their combs to turn red.. usually when they squat for a roo, eggs are in the near future.

It was two to three weeks from the first mating we saw until our first egg. We had our first day today of getting more than one egg. Today we got two. Also, the first matings are sure not very romantic.
