Has anyone crossed Ancona to Black Minorca or White Leghorn? I have My Ancona rooster with these girls and wondered what offspring would look like. Would I get some Hybrid Vigor, Like more eggs? Thanks for any help!

Ancona and Minorca-black chicks; Ancona and Leghorn - white,maybe some black feathers on them. For sure you will have vigor.

Well they hatched out aboout three weeks ago, and I ended up with some solid white with a few black specks and some black and white. I can't wait to see them full grown. I hope that they are pullets. I could sure use the eggs considering I have a waiting list for eggs.
they are going to be beautiful, i love anconas they are one of the best breeding chicken
