Went out of town and spouse had a little fun in the spirit of sending me a picture to make me laugh, so I though BYCers would enjoy a picture of some very pampered chickens with their own pool, diving board, and deck chair.

Previously he build a Chicken sized deck chair to go on the deck to the elevated chicken coop.

Now, just need to weight the short end of the diving board and put it on a pivot at the base... so your chickens can use it as a teeter totter as well... Next project: Playground.

Awesome. I'm in the process of building a coop. I thought if I have enough materials left over I would build them a playground. Glad to see I'm not the only one with such ideas.

No, but they do sip the water (there are regular chicken waters too). The “pool” isn’t very deep either.

Try placing the chickens in the pool and maybe they will realize they like it. I have a large dog bowl filled with water and I put my chickens in it once and they all realized they love it.
