Well we started out with ten chicks, and my Hubby declared no more until we find land and move. However leave it up to my beautiful 4 yr old son to get daddy to let him have 3 pretty yellow ducklings... LOL... What can I say he's really just a big softy at heart.

He loves them just as much as we do. Boy I hope we have some luck looking for some land, cause with 4 boys (11,4,2,4months), 3 cats, 2 dogs,2ferrets, 10 chicks and 3 ducklings we sure could use it!

I know how you feel! We started out with 9 pullets last year, lost 4 of them, but gained one in the fall. Then this year, we got 20 chicks to keep, a dozen broilers for freezer camp and now yesterday we got 10 ducklings! My kids love it, I love the chicks, but not so thrilled about the ducks and all the poop. (Most of them are for freezer camp too though!)
