Hi everyone,
I'm new to this forum and to raising chickens. I'm so dumb I raised a hen last summer only to have her crow in October.

Now I need your collective help. This 5 month old pullet was supposed to be the last andalusian at the feed store. Can anyone tell me what I have here?

That bird doesn't look like my Blue Andalusians.
A not so good picture of my BA's sitting with my BLRW's.

Her body shape is alot like my andalusians, but not the coloring. Maybe she has a genetic discoloration.

Remember, blue andalusians can come in black, blue AND splash varieties since they have the blue gene.

Breed her to a black bird and you'll get blue birds.

My guess it is a splash Analusian. Andalusians come blue, black, and splash(white with black spots.) Breed her back to a blue she should have some blue chicks

Blue has varying degrees. Some look really light gray, almost splash whereas others look like they're black until the light hits them just right.

It's just how blue is...
