These are my first ducks so I have no idea as to what it starts out looking like ... They are on 20% flock raiser . This duck is almost 10 weeks and is a lil over 10lbs I have 2 others and they are all the same age . The other two are a lil over 9 lbs . But look the same as this one pretty much . BYC sometimes makes me paranoid soooo any thoughts?

Gracious, where have I been???

That does not look like angel wing to me.

That wing behavior is not unusual, from what I read here. When my runners do that, it is usually after a swim, or when it's rather warm. They are drying or cooling their wings.

There is not unanimous agreement about what causes angel wing, either. There seems to be a genetic tendency, according to some, and others don't think protein has that much to do with it. I don't have it in our flock. I followed Storey's Guide recommendations pretty closely.
