Angora Goats/Nubian Dairy goats

does anyone have experience with either of these goats?

I have a 3 month old Angora Should I shear her in November or Sooner? i would really like to get on a May-November Schedule.

Nubian Diary
I am going to be getting a 1 1/2 week old Nubian kid. I know it will be a while until she produces milk, but i can't find anywhere where it say at what age they start to lactate.

My nigerian was born last may. The lady in charge of the goats at fair said to breed her in December. I'm pretty sure with the bigger breed goats you can breed them a bit sooner.

A doe has to be bred before she will produce any milk. There are rare instances of lactation without breeding, but don't count on it. Nubians are seasonal breeders, if I remember right. Meaning they only come into heat in the fall. I don't think you'll be able to safely breed her this coming season, but by the next she should be large enough.

I would love to do that, but I have been on there twice around December and got a computer virus both times and I am afraid of going back on the sister site.

BYH doesn't have any computer viruses, just like BYC. No popups, nothing. I suspect your computer already had a problem, such as an adware bug, that coincidentally manifested itself when you visited BYH. That is why it is good to run both a virus scanner AND a malware scanner.
