Angora Rabbit farming a profitable livestock activity in Pakistan

Islamabad—Rabbit farming is another profitable livestock activity with great scope as it is relatively easy, rewarding and takes little space compared to other related activities. Pakistan Agricultural Research Council (PARC), sources told APP here farming can also provide a very valuable additional source of income in the rural areas for subsistent farmers, landless agricultural, labourers, educated, unemployed retired person and school going children of hilly areas.

“Angora rabbit are viable substitute of sheep for more economic labour saving docile and eco-friendly in rural areas” they added.
