Angora rabbit hutch/run door size?

What should be the height and width of an Angora rabbit door between the run and hutch? I've read the minimum hutch/run height should be 18 inches and the rabbits can get up to 12 pounds. So I'm thinking the size of a heavy breed rooster, but of course they don't walk on 2 legs.

The cage door openings for my angora's (German buck and a French/German doe) are 12" high and 17" wide. I have no problems getting them in or out. My cages are 18" high. I hope this helps!
