I can't get my four new chicks (16 week, fully grown) integrated with my three adults.
One older hen is ruthless, pinning down and pecking, nearly to injury if we don't intervene. The other older hens are accepting.
If I remove her for a week while the rest of the flock integrates, will that help? My thought is that will knock her out of the pecking order and she'll be forced down a few rungs.
