I just brought my duck inside after an animal attack. He only has one spot that’s bleeding that I can find and it already started to clot. He came running to me when I started screaming and running through the woods to chase away the animal so he seems ok other than the bleeding. Any advice you have would be appreciated. I have him standing in shallow cold water right now to help with clotting but not sure what else to do. He’s definitely in shock. Also let me know if the water is a bad idea

On his breast. I THINK I stopped the bleeding, sprayed with saline wound wash, and he’s back in the coop. The others won’t attack, will they?

They could, but also keeping him in an area with multiple other ducks with an open wound is very unsanitary and can lead to infection. If you have any sort of dog crate or cage of any sort, it would be best to keep him in there and keep it as clean as possible.
