Animal club presention question!!!! please help!

Ok so i am in this animal club and the teacher wants me to bring my chicks when they hatch! will they be okay at 2 weeks of age to go with out a light for 20 mins? or will they get chilled and sick? they will be silkies.

My wife is a 3rd grade teacher and wanted me to bring them to her class. It was at about 2 weeks that I took them in. 15 min travel each way, 30 min at school (class rooms were cold too).

1 hour out total, chicks were fine.

I'll admit I did have the heater on in the car higher than I wanted.

When I got home they didn't want the heat lamp, but their food.
