There were a lot of those in the neighborhood this morning. It looked as if a pack of them was hunting rabbits through the neighborhood. Most were going from tree to tree (pines and cedars) and to clumps of grass and brush thickets. They were sniffing around in likely hiding places for rabbits.

I did notice one through "trail" through the neighbors pasture....multiple tracks in a line. Like the "sand people" from Star Wars...........they were marching in single file to hide their numbers? One yote skirted the chicken yard, passing no more than 30 feet from the chicken house, but didn't venture in.

A neighbor had a fox track moving along at a good wide distance, indicating it had up some speed.

Always fun to follow tracks in a new fallen snow. Gives insight into traffic patterns and things that go bump in the night.

My son and I enjoy following tracks around our property too. We have many different species of predators, and as long as they stay away from coop they are welcome to roam.
