Hi, newbie here...
(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
Bought chicks last June, built coop last September, and started getting eggs in December.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
3 hens.
(3) What breeds do you have?
1 Rhode Island Red, 2 Speckled Sussex
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
Fresh eggs every day and also, they are cute to watch
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
Taking care of fish pond, piano, hiking.
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
Other pets: gold fish in outdoors pond (about 25-30), and 4 angel fish inside.
(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community?

Hi. I got ten Lohmann brown eggs in 2020 and later that year I got two silkie hens and then in 2021 I got a silkie rooster and three silkie babies. Right now I have 14 chickens at the moment. I love watching my chickens being goofy. I love doing craft. You flock sounds adorable and I hope you learn lots on this website.
