one of my 6 week old chicks (aprox. that old) is feathering out in browns, chocolate brown, black and beige...very lively shades of brown. yellow feet and legs...regular looking comb (i'm pretty sure she is a she as her comb is still yellow/pink and small). she's very lively and flies around the coop alot like she's playing...doesn't want me to pet her though, so seems a bit shy as well...any thoughts?
i posted before about my white chick and think i figured out what she is (i'm pretty sure she's a light brahma)...my camera is out of commission right now and my phone camera just doesn't cut it...
as soon as i can get some pics up i will!
anyway, i'm sure i'll be asking questions about most of my unknown babies..LOL we got them (8 total) from a local elementary school who hatched them for a first grade classroom lesson.
now we have no idea what breeds they are..
