Another Bumblefoot question

I am sorry I do not have a picture. My girl has Bumblefoot, I soaked it a couple days in a row and removed scab today, but there is no “plug” so to speak. Just kinda seems like regular foot meat. I decided not to dig and cut anything more, applied antibiotic ointment and wrapped up.

Has anyone else had this where there is not an actual plug? I squeezed a bit and nothing was coming out at all.

If there wasnt any redness nor swelling, there's no need to do surgery nor treat it. Sometimes the scabs go away on their own.

She does have a swollen foot. She has always had a bum leg since she was a chick, so has always limped on it. Am wondering if that contributes? Also a small bumble starting on other foot. I scraped that little spot and wrapped it for her too with ointment

Sounds like you did good. I wouldn't dig now. Keep with the foot soaks, ointment and wrapping for a week and then see how it looks. If it doesn't turn red and sweel more, you are moving in the right direction.
