another good day

So I came home for lunch from work, and one of my mamma ducks had 14 little babies with her. I knew she went broody, but it was so long ago that I figured she was sitting on a bad nest.

Well let me tell you, she is MEAN

. I tried 5 times to get close enough to get pics and she lunges at me and the camera. She bites too lol. I will try to get some when she settles down a bit.

I had to go in and retrieve some very rotten eggs today. This just wasn't her season...
