this is my 2nd load of cortunix.
Started with 105 eggs , lost 10 to fertility issues on day 6. 6 were culled on day 14. Those didn't look fertile either. I wasn't surprised with the hot weather we are having this year.
They didn't start hatching till day 17.A day later than my first load. I had 6 hatch this morning, which was day 19.
At last count there is 72 that are very healthy. But we culled one that 's legs were so twisted nothing would have fixed the poor thing.
This morning I candled what was left of the eggs and found some with no air sac. Tossed those. I don't think they had air sacs on day 14 either.
When I opened them there were dead chicks inside. By the looks of them they died before lock down. Still can't candle that well , so quiters are not easy for me to see.
I have another incubator due for lock down tomarrow. from shipped eggs hope to do as well.
